Just moved to Friant and had some reservations about switching to a local provider. Ponderosa quickly quelled my fears. Their customer service has been top notch through Kimberly- they actually pick up the phone on the first call and have a broad knowledge base on the service they provide. The internet installation team, lead by Steven, put in some hard work to get my service set up and even came out the day following to problem solve a small issue. I have not had customer service like this in years- anywhere, if I am being honest. The blazing fast fiber internet is almost secondary to the quality of the service team. Cheers, guys!

The internet goes out at least every other month. I have paid for an upgraded router etc. The only reason they are in business is because there is nobody else other than oddball options like Hughes net. It’s hard not to be irritated by expensive internet with unreliable access.

This service is garbage. I pay $145 per month for internet and requires me having a land-line. This service works better if you are 2 months late. But if you pay on time month after month, the service is slow and sometimes doesn't work. This service is almost as bad as Viasat. Ponderosa is better off selling to Xfinity, then it would be quality Internet for way better price. ITS AS BAD AS OLD SCHOOL DIAL UP.
On the 5th, tech came out was very helpful. Customer service, very helpful. But it still doesn't fix the problem. I want to know why, when we have 2 PS4's and streaming a video on our TV wifi is fine, but, when all we have is 1 or 2 phones that is using wifi, it sucks. Makes no sense. Thank you for your attempt at fixing the problem, but still terrible

Lisa was so helpful for me. Great customer service! I spoke to her about different packages since I had one of the most expensive from a few years ago. She told me about a package that was as fast and more reliable for less. Also she gave me valuable information about Star link too. She was great, especially when customer service is not valuable to many companies now and they end up automating everything. Thanks, Lisa!

customer for 6 years.... when it works, it works great. I've had some issues with consistency, I've been experiencing tiny outages (30 seconds, fairly regularly, which is enough to kick you off any streaming platform) so it's been more of an annoyance than anything else. However, the customer service for Ponderosa is top notch.... they actually answer the phone and really want to help. Never had any issues getting through to someone when I've called with a problem, and they're on it, I've always received a follow up call the next day.

*ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS* Ponderosa Interrupted service for two days. Now they have downgraded everyone’s service to start offering upgraded (higher pricing) speeds. Grandfather’d customers should receive similar service as before. We hardly had any issues before but now our service sucks. This is not how you treat your loyal customers PONDEROSA.

Was a customer of ponderosa telephone for many years. The service is spotty "goes out often" Prices aren't competitive because it's a monopoly. The customer service is ok when you call during business hours.

We are fortunate to live in an area where Ponderosa Edge provides fiber optics to homes (not DSL and not through a phone line). The service has been outstanding in all aspects for many years now. The monthly cost is reasonable and the customer service is excellent.
